After a week off the tour heads to the heart of NASCAR country for the first and only four wide race of the season at the Bellagio of Dragstrips zMAX Dragway in Charlotte North Carolina

NUMBER 5 THE BOYS AND GIRLS ARE BACK IN TOWN

After being off since the season opening Gatornationals the stars of the Pro Stock Bike class return to competition this weekend in Charlotte to the delight of the fans of NHRA. 

NUMBER 4 THE RETURN OF OLD FRIENDS 

Fans of NHRA Drag Racing are excited to see the return to NHRA competition of Jasmine Salinas in Top Fuel and in the Funny Car class for the second straight race multi time Funny Car winner Jeff Arend driving for Jim Dunn and the Mooneyes team. 

NUMBER 3 UPSET CITY

One of the many great things about the four wide format is the amount of upsets that take place during raceday. With several current drivers like Dallas Glenn have scored their first career National Event wins under the four wide format and could another lucky racer pick up their first win this weekend? 

NUMBER 2 NEW COLORS FOR HYDE

This weekend Spencer Hyde the 2025 Rookie of The Year will be supporting a new paint scheme courtesy of the Craine Group. Hyde who met executives of the company last year at Charlotte has spent the year building a positive relationship with the company which lead to this opportunity.

NUMBER ONE FOUR FOR FOUR IN NITRO? 

As we are only four races into the season fans of the sport have noticed a pattern in the nitro classes 3 races and 3 different winners have kicked off the nitro season and the biggest story of the weekend is  can the trend continue in Charlotte.
