Bristol, TN — Cory Gulitti picks up the first big check of the week at the RAD Torque Systems Fall Fling presented by OPTIMA Batteries at Bristol Dragway during the Rob’s Automotive $20,000 32-Car Shootout!
Cory Gulitti was the last one standing out of the field of 16 door cars and 16 dragsters on Tuesday. In the final, he and Chase Conley were separated by .001 on the starting line and Gulitti ran dead-on his dial with a one for the win. It was Gulitti’s third Fling Shootout final round appearance of 2025 alone and second victory.
In the semifinals, Gary Williams and Cory Gulitti were separated by two-thousandths at the hit with Gulitti getting to the stripe first by .008 to advance to the final round. Connor Caulder turned it just four-thousandths red on the dragster side to bow out against the dead-on seven lap of Chase Conley.
Jayden Lawler, Chase Conley, Jerry McGowan, and Connor Caulder were the four remaining racers on the dragster side of the ladder while Gary Williams, Joe Julsrud, Jon Corbin, and Cory Gulitti were left on the door car side.
Advanced Product Design Wednesday will start with a time run session for all entries on property before the first round of the $15,000 event. Catch the action live all week exclusively on the @RaceTheFlings YouTube courtesy of JEGS Performance and Mickey Thompson.
