After two years at Maryland International Dragway outside Washington DC, Funny Car Chaos founder and president Chris Graves brought the traveling circus of Plastic Fantastic cars to Lebanon Valley Dragway.

The event, a non-points race, attracted the best Nostalgia Alcohol Funny Cars on the East Coast and a few Nitro powered Funny Cars too.

Leading the charge after two sessions is Chaos regular Jim Gifford in his Svengali Firebird. Gifford who tips the can in his car is way ahead of the rest of the field with a 3.708.

Philadelphia racer Joey Pirrone slid into the #2 spot with a 4.060 in the Screamin Eagle Pontiac.

A tick behind Pirrone is Paul Conlon with a 4.153 in the Boston Monkey with Matt Stambaugh driving the Generation X Vega right with him at a 4.162.

Elkton MD racer and former FCC winner Drew Sweetman is fifth with a 4.301 in the Frantic Ford Mustang.

Chaos Founder and President Chris Graves checks the track out before Sweetman makes a pass in the Frantic car

The Poison Arrow driven by Frank Barnard currently sits in the #6 spot with a 4.315.

Multi-talented driver “Nitro” Joe Morrison is in the #7 spot in the Crazy Horse Mustang with a 4.368 with a lot more power under the hood to move up in the field.

Occupying the eighth spot is Jami Russell’s Iron Horse Mustang at a 4.526

Sliding into the #9 slot is the Wildly Disturbed Mustang of Doug Fassl with a 4.940. Right behind Fassl is crowd favorite Chris Masssarella in his Total Insanity Monza with a 4.944.

Cicero NY racer Brian White sits in the #11 spot and Andrew Armstrong logged a shutting off 12.704 for thirteenth position in the Smokey Bonz Gang Chevy II Nova.

Veteran driver Mike Smith is listed as an entry but has yet to make a pass at LV.
