The third race in the Countdown to the Championship 2026 takes us to The Gateway to the West St Louis for the Napa Parts Midwest Nationals.

Since it’s addition to the schedule in ‘97 this event has been the host to some great and also tragic moments in its history to Warren Johnson final NHRA National Event win to the tragic passing of Darrell Russell.

With just 4 races remaining let’s pull out from under the tower and let’s give you this week’s Pick 5!

NUMBER 5 Like Father Like Son

In Factory Stock Showdown both Kyle and Mark Pawuk will be racing and with dad Mark having multiple NHRA Event wins in the class along with Pro Stock can Kyle break through for his first national event win this weekend.

NUMBER 4 Tonight’s Top Dog

Top Fuel and Funny Car drivers have the opportunity on Friday to add some cash to the bank account with the Top Dog award given out to the low qualifier in each class after Fridays second session.

NUMBER 3 A Win For Cody?

Last weekend Cody Anderson made the final in Pro Stock and everyone is wondering can he be the next first time pro winner in 26 this weekend in St Louis?

NUMBER 2 Check Your Local Stations

For the past several years NHRA has been tied in with at least one football Sunday with a NHRA event leading into a football game. With its past history of huge tv ratings for these NHRA Events can the trend continue?

NUMBER 1 A Win For Massey?

At Martin Michigan, Spencer Massey came just one round away from scoring his first Top Fuel win in over a decade and with him being on the entry list this weekend can he go one round farther in St Louis?
