Bushkill Park located in Easton, Pa. Is one of the oldest running amusement parks in the country. So, it only makes sense it would serve as the perfect backdrop for a great car show. Enter Not Your Father’s Car and Bike Show and enter they did right into the amusement park. What a great look and feel walking through the park with all the classic vintage rides as background all sorts of cars and bikes came pouring in to take part in the second edition of Not Your Father’ Car and Bike Show.

The classic fun house which is the oldest Fun House still stands as it has for its long history. Motorcycles of all shapes and styles filled both the front and side of this piece of history. From there it was a short walk to check out the cars parked in front of the Tilt-A-Whirl and the old-time roller rink.

In addition to all the rides that are still running there are many rides that have been affected by the weather but are in the process of getting back up and running. Among those rides is The Whip which was built way back in the day in Coney Island by W.F. Mangels Co. still features all the cars built way back when there is hope that this ride will be up and whipping people once again in the future only time will tell.

This family friendly event will benefit Bushkill Park with entry proceeds coming from car and bike show donations. In addition to the great car show there was live music all day provided by bands The Ultra Kings and Lower Bank Kustums.

A great pin up girl contest was held as well and kept everyone entertained as well. All of this great entertainment and folks could buy tickets and ride the rides as well. Something great about spending the day at an old time amusement park and at the same time enjoy a great car show. Such is the case when

Not Your Father’s Car Show took over Bushkill Park in Easton, Pa. When this show rolls around next year make sure you take time to check it out not only will you have a great time but help keep Bushkill Park up and running.
