NUMBER 5 Head Of Class

One of the more popular features of the IS Nationals is the ever popular Class Eliminations that take place during qualifying for Stock and Super Stock.

If your a racer in either of those classes winning class is the equivalent of winning the world championship and US Nationals all in one and it’s something every class racer wants on their resume.

NUMBER 4 Hemi Shootout

The major highlight of Fridays action at Indy is the famed Hemi Challenge presented by Sox and Martin.

The longest running specialty race in NHRA History puts together the baddest SS/AH cars in the country in a heads up first to the finish line showdown that always brings the crowd to its feet.

NUMBER 3 Funny Car Callout

A staple at Indy since 1982 and the first of the specialty race within a race for the pros the Play NHRA Funny Car Callout marks the final Callout event of the year.

The event has had several memorable moments over the years and with 8 drivers looking to add their names to list of racers to double up at Indy this is one Callout you don’t wanna miss!

NUMBER 2 A Step Back In Time

As part of the 75th Anniversary season and with the US National being this weekend a who’s who of legends will be in attendance.

One of the highlights is a special meet and greet with some of the biggest legends in the sport which is something you don’t wanna miss!

NUMBER 1 In Honor Of Blaine

In 1996 Blaine Johnson was on top of the world. The four time TAD National Champion and his brother Alan were on their way to their first Top Fuel Championship when tragedy stuck at the US Nationals when Blaine would lose his life in a racing accident.

Fast forward 30 years and another Johnson this time Melaine Alan’s daughter is carrying on the family legacy in the drivers seat and with a recent runner up at Brainerd can Melanie score an emotional win for the Johnsons this weekend in Indy?
