LUCAS OIL TO CONTINUE PARTNERSHIP WITH MUSI RACING
(November 23, 2021) MOORESVILLE, NC — With a successful partnership that has lasted more than a decade, Lucas Oil and Pat Musi Racing Engines announced that their longtime relationship will continue for the upcoming 2022 season.
Lucas Oil will maintain its sponsorship on Lizzy Musi’s Edelbrock and Lucas Oil-powered “Bonnie” Camaro on the Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings circuit for the upcoming year, and the partnership will also continue to extend into the engine shop for Pat Musi Racing Engines. Both Musi Racing and Pat Musi Racing Engines have proudly used Lucas Oil’s proven products for more than a decade, building an incredible track record along the way.
“We’ve been together a long time, so it’s great to continue this partnership,” Pat Musi said. “We’ve got a great car going into next year and they see the potential in that, so we’re both pretty happy and we can’t thank them enough for their support. It’s a great relationship and it’s definitely a partnership.”
Lucas Oil is a world leader and distributor of high-performance automotive additives and lubricants and has been an important supporter of motorsports for more than three decades. The company produces oils, lubricants and problem-solving additives, and Musi has worked closely with them on a number of different applications over the years.
That relationship, along with the vast success of Musi Racing and Pat Musi Racing Engines, has made it a great partnership for both companies.
“Lucas Oil is excited to extend our over 11-year association with Pat and Lizzy Musi,” Lucas Oil Director of Partnership Marketing Brandon Bernstein said. “Their commitment to the Lucas Oil brands on and off the track exemplifies the kind of ambassadors we strive for here at Lucas. We are looking forward to an amazing 2022!”
Lizzy Musi enjoyed a terrific finish to her 2021 Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings season in the new car, picking up a pair of late-season wins in Tuscon, AZ, and Denver, a runner-up showing in Dallas and a victory at the No Prep Kings Team Attack finale in Bradenton, FL.
That gives the team plenty of momentum heading into 2022, while at Pat Musi’s highly-successful engine shop, Lucas Oil is the lifeblood for every Musi engine. That will certainly continue for the 2022 season, as Pat Musi Racing Engines will use Lucas Oil’s 10w40 Racing Oil, 20w50 Racing Oil, 20w50 Break-in Oil and the new Low Viscosity Stabilizer to stay ahead of the competition.
“We’re constantly working on different oils and working on things for them and that’s been great,” Musi said. “We work together to develop a lot of different things and came up with a good combination. It’s a great company, we love our relationship with them and they like what we’re doing on the track. It’s been really a good deal and we’re excited for next season.”
