The 30th Carlisle Ford Nationals was held in South Central PA under favorable June weather conditions. This annual gathering of Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Euro Ford, and Edsel vehicles has more cars on the show field than any other Carlisle event. Fifty-five car clubs registered to display their “rides.  In addition to viewing the thousands of show cars, attendees had the opportunity to visit a variety of activities.

There was a manufacturers midway, car corral, flea market, monster truck rides, drifting demonstrations, and a rolling burnout and donut contest. Hundreds of show cars paraded to downtown Carlisle and then parked so the large spectator crowd could view them in greater detail. A real street shootout occurred on Sunday enticing spectators to return for another day of the Ford Nationals.

One of the many guests well known to blue oval enthusiasts was Charlie Morris. He is the author of many Ford titles including two about Y Blocks.  A number of milestones were celebrated in 2024 with the 50th anniversary of Carlisle Events, 60 years of the Ford Mustang, and the Ford Thunderbolt. A variety of displays were seen throughout the facilities reminding the many spectators and participants of the respective commemorations. The Carlisle Ford Nationals is the largest event of its kind in the world. The Ford faithful will once again gather in Carlisle, PA June 6-8 2025
