With Drag Racing taking a winter break and tracks across the USA shut down for the season, the action moves indoors. Car shows have been around, well, ever since there were cars. And this year’s East Coast Indoor Nationals did not disappoint. Our reporter “Mashie” was on hand to capture the event, one of the premier shows of the season.

The East Coast Indoor Nationals was held at the Timonium Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD. This annual car, truck, and bike show is held in the Cow Palace building. Motorama Productions once again filled the Cow Palace with a variety of show vehicle entries and vendors. More than 10,000 dollars in cash, awards, and prizes were given to the deserving recipients.

Since the show event is scheduled before the Christmas holiday season, many of the show vehicle displays have a Christmas theme. Included in those displays are unwrapped items for the Toys for Tots charity. Due to the generosity of the show participants a number of Baltimore area children will have toys under their Christmas tree. Among the many show entries were a variety of performance cars. Some of the vehicles are active racers at local drag strips while others have restored their former drag cars and only display them. Motorama Productions will start the 2023 season with Dragfest – Indoor Drag Racing Showcase and Custom Car Show at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center in Lebanon, PA.
