The 10th annual FE Race and Reunion was once again held at Beaver Springs Dragway in scenic Snyder County, Pennsylvania. This event is a gathering of iron block engines powering Ford, Edsel, and Mercury race cars. The motors range in displacement from 351 to 428 cubic inches. The three day event began with test and tune sessions both Thursday and Friday. Grudge racing was also held on Thursday with Friday featuring a Gamblers Race.

Saturday was Showtime with a swap meet, car show, and race eliminations. After two time shots for the competition cars, the show cars were paraded through the staging lanes. Commemorative plaques were then awarded to the top ten winning show cars. Eliminations among the five classes contested were held throughout the afternoon.

The attending Ford fans had the opportunity to have photos taken and autographs signed by the Ford Legends present. “Ohio” George Montgomery, Al Joniec , and Milo Coleman greeted their life long fans.

Fans and racers are looking forward to September 2023 when this unique Ford event will once again be held at Beaver Springs Dragway. Track owner, Mike McCracken is hoping for a repeat of the favorable weather experienced in 2022.
